Trailer Talk: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

As if I need anymore reasons to get excited about the second Guardians adventure. Then of course here comes a trailer that sums up all of the awesome things about the first movie and the world James Gunn has created. So let's break down the latest from our favorite superheroic space jerks.
So there's not a ton of new stuff in this trailer. A lot of things we already kinda saw before, but with the benefit of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" rumbling underneath and Drax delivering the film's underlying message of unity. Some of the stuff is starting to make more sense though.
It looks like Gamora and Nebula are going to have a face off of sorts, that there's an apparent race of perfect beings out to destroy our current universe, and that baby groot might more distracting than helpful in big fights.
This trailer also highlights the team's new additions including Nebula, Mantis, and Yondu as titled members of the squad which means we've not only one-upped the number of women involved in Avengers adventures but also get to see more of James Gunn's bro forever Michael Rooker.
Still the big pay off comes last which is Peter Quill coming face to face with his father played by Kurt Russell. I'm still unsure of how this will play into the film's plot but this looks like another bright, funny, and colorful romp for the Guardians. I. Cannot. Wait.
